We'd really like to relocate to VA, from PA. Problem is...a few years ago, I was on worker's comp...after getting hurt...have all my papers, etc...and it's been hard to catch up since.

Hence, my FICO score is low, slow mortgage payment history, etc,....you know the score. Is there any company, or anyway to get a descent home, via a conventional mortgage????!!!

All I have got over the past 5 years of trying, is a lot of "No's", and too many inquiries!!!!
I really get hopeless sometimes...I know it can be done somehow. I've seen people after filing Bankruptcy get homes faster!!!!!

I would hate to image someone with bad credit, and their home gets destroyed, and they have to try to get another one!

I have to turn down job after job, in the city where we want to move to, because I can't get a place to live!!!!....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Don't bother scolding me....I've had enough to last me a lifetime. If I EVER get my credit back (currently 520 FICO), I'll never, never apply for anything again...! These companies have so much power, it ruins peoples lives, etc. People in JAIL have better FICO Scores!!!!! Because they can't do anything for years!!!

The only real Prejudice in this country today is "GREEN"! (Money...lack of it!!!)

Have you tried FHA?

Did you read the discussions in the Finance section?

You'd be better off having filed for bankruptcy, now all you can do is work on your credit scores and not have another late.

And of course read increasing credit scores and make sure that everything on your credit is correct.
