D T (Dtemkin) | Thursday, January 25, 2001 - 08:27 am Anyone have a good current source? My ch7 was discharged, and most of my reports are cleaned up or are in the process of being cleaned up, and I'd like to know where I stand.. Any ideas? Thanks, -Dave |

They pay for the score(s) to be generated. Most are willing to give you a copy, but that's if they *think* you're actaully wanting a loan. I read an article in this past Sunday's Detroit News about Experian offering your FICO score (the Beacon flavor) with your consumer report, starting some time in March. You might check their site for more info. |

John Shimmer (Jshimmer) | Friday, January 26, 2001 - 07:53 am It's probably that same way here, but many lenders will offer to pull your credit and check your scores without charging you. Wasting a couple bucks pulling reports is better than spending time and resources putting together paperwork BEFORE finding out that the person isn't going to get the loan. Thanks for the info, though. |
