From the Experian web site:

In addition, if you certify in writing that you receive public welfare assistance, are unemployed and seeking employment in the next 60 days, or believe information in your report is inaccurate due to fraud, you are entitled to a complimentary report.

If you would like to request a complimentary copy of your personal credit report for one of these reasons, please send your request via U.S. mail to

Experian, P.O. Box 9532, Allen, TX 75013.
