I live in SF and am trying to become a first time buyer. I was wondering where to go, other than the real estate brokers on Union Street :-), for recommendations on Buyer's Agents and Mortgage Brokers.

All of my reading indicates if you are fair, honest, and can read human nature (with a fee agreement to back it up), these are the folks who will best keep your interests in focus in this barbaric market.

Since I'm a transplant, and since these folks do not have an obvious advertising outlet, where should I go for leads?

Thanks
/Adam
