Citibank will run your credit and the only way to stop their telemarketing phone calls is to SNAIL mail them. I have neighbors who can NOT stop their calls.

Citibank also shares your data with their "affiliates." Their "promise to privacy" is one big joke.

"10. If the recipient is not a member of c2it, , he will be invited to enroll in c2it when he responds to the e-mail informing him that you have sent money to him. In order to pick up the money that you have sent ("Pick Up Cash"), the recipient must be a member of c2it or a member of c2it.com."

Looks like they'll run the recipient's credit and Citibank gets another victim they can spam with their crap. This should be illegal.

There's a lot to be said for Western Union. I'm not exactly thrilled with PayPal's lengthy terms and conditions, but they state they'll only run your credit when you owe them.
