| | Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 03:03 pm I just sent the following E-mail to support@ifsmarketing.com: 12/26/00 Today the BayHouse Forum at www.bayhouse.com/discus was spammed with 2 ads for http://www.ifsloans.com/. As per my policy "No SPAM! A $50 removal fee applies to each ad posted more than once," displayed directly next to the posting button, $50 are now due. The IP of the poster was 152.163.207.197, the E-mail supplied was support@ifsmarketing.com. And yes, I realize that you are apparently a one person outfit, with the only e-mail address at your site being support@ifsmarketing.com. Please send your check or money order to BayHouse L.L.C. Christine Baker 989 So. Main Street Suite A - 150 Cottonwood, AZ 86326 or you may pay me via PayPal through the link at http://www.bayhouse.com/services.shtml Should I not have your payment by January 12, 2001, I WILL take legal action. I realize that you are probably very broke and a judgment will be difficult to collect, but what the heck, the scanned judgment will serve as a deterrent to future spammers. The legal fees will be money well spent. MOST sincerely, Christine Baker

| | Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 03:15 pm I moved the other posting to SPAM. Since I was looking for the contact info at that site, I saw enough to give you my review: It's a SCAM. Here's why: There are absolutely NO loans available through Internet Financial. This moron wants your money, $24.95 to be exact. You'll then get 2 referrals to lenders. Because he offers a moneyback guarantee if you don't get an approval, I am certain that these are loans at the very worst terms. Also, it is highly unlikely that you will get your money back. Everything on that site reeks of fraud. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Internet Financial! copy to support@ifsloans.com

| | Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 02:38 pm Straight off their Home page: IFS specializes in services for those with less than perfect credit. We offer unlimited access to members site*, no longer have any annaul fees*, online checks accepted for membership fee*, full access to your FREE bonus site 24 hours a day. These loan specialists cannot spell 'annual' or proof read their home page but we are supposed to trust them in helping us get a loan. good luck !!

| | Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 04:08 pm Dan, I moved your posting over here from the SPAM category. The sad thing is that people who desperately need money WILL pay those 24.95. The site isn't targeting MDs. Most of the people who'll get scammed there didn't go to college, are probably fairly new to the net, are fair game. I also noticed that this moron has at least 2 domains, one is ifsmarketing.com, the other is ifsloan.com. They both contain the same fraud. All he has to do is spam message boards, usenet, and of course, spam via E-mail. And it's legal too, in the US.

| | Wednesday, December 27, 2000 - 08:03 pm I have noticed a lot of bad credit loan sites on the web that trick you into their website and then when you go looking for info, the website wants some kind of money AND THEN they will tell you who these loan companies are. There is a credit card site credit-search.com that practices a "Free" search. Once you give them all your info, they email you with a request for 24.95 and then you will get up to 5 credit card companies that meet your criteria. Please! Also, I was looking for a personal loan company to help me purchase a used car and I found Dr. Credit. This guy emails me A LOT with the same info every time. His emails always say they burn the midnight oil looking for deals, I click the link and it's some company that wants 24.95 for information. DUMB! I won't fall for it. Anybody know of any reputable bad credit (recent bk) personal loan companies (I am trying to borrow around 2K). I figure I will have to pay the 25% interest, but that's fine as I make a lot more than I ever have. Any help would be appreciated.
