QUESTION:

I read in a credit book that you shouldn't dispute more than 3 items at a time. Is this correct? If so, why? I feel you should be able to dispute as many as you want to without any problems from the bureaus.

ANSWER:

You might want to write to the author of the book you read and/or post in the credit section.

In the case of legitimate massive disputes such as after bankruptcy I recommend mailing certified. And I recommend legal action if the "mass dispute" isn't successful.

CRAs have no legal right to limit the number of disputed accounts.
