QUESTION

Why won't TransUnion allow me to order my credit report free of charge (to be mailed to me) on their web-site? I thought the law was that if I was denied credit within the last 30 days I could get a free credit report?

ANSWER

I think you have 60 days or a "reasonable time" from the decline to order your free report. However, it appears that this free report is not available through the web. You may have to call them.

You can find current and comprehensive CRA contact info at http://www.bayhouse.com/order-credit.shtml
