Christine Baker (Admin) | Monday, March 19, 2001 - 04:10 pm Interland tech support reset the mail server Sunday afternoon. They assured me that no mail was lost, that it was in the mail spool but would take a few hours. Well, it's been over a day, and I didn't receive a single one of my test messages from Sat night. So, I guess they wiped it out. Please MAIL it AGAIN if you haven't gotten a response to anything you sent last Sat/Sun. Sorry. |
Christine Baker (Admin) | Monday, March 19, 2001 - 05:47 pm Am NOT getting mail again. After an hour on hold and talking to Interland tech support, they promised to call me back. |
Christine Baker (Admin) | Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 10:41 am So, mail works again, right now. What I don't understand is why Interland states they didn't lose any mail, when in fact they lost the mail for an entire day, including credit reports clients faxed me. Why don't they just tell me how it is? I could have notified everybody right away, 2 days earlier, instead of waiting for the mail spool to catch up. Here I am trying to move to a new host and domain and I'm not getting account setup info, domain change verifications, etc. and nothing gets done because these morons at Interland can't even deliver e-mail. I'm convinced they're going out of business. Tomorrow I should have a new e-mail address. |
