I recently called Experian to find out what type of authorization is required to ensure smooth communications between you and my representative. I was told that this was not possible, that only an attorney could represent me. Even a notarized power of attorney is not sufficient. I don't believe that a credit reporting agency has the status of a court of law. I DO believe that I have the right to hire whoever I wish, to prepare my taxes, to clean my toilet, or in this case, to deal with those constant Experian credit reporting errors causing extreme frustration as well as financial damages. Please send me the form required to authorize the person of my choice to dispute incorrect Experian credit reporting on my behalf and work with your staff via phone, fax and e-mail.
