| | Thursday, June 15, 2000 - 12:56 am I created a special page with links to reviewed sites and services at http://www.bayhouse.com/affiliates.html Aside from a (non blinking) ad above the menu I don't plan on putting ads in the forum. Reading all the agreements and terms, setting up accounts and figuring out how it all works sure was a lot of work. Of course I have to check the sites out. Why am I so worried that they'll suck and you'll all be mad at me for sending you there? So far I'm totally thrilled with PayTrust, they function like Amazon.com. Instant confirmations, E-mail notifications, to the point with no spam attached. I hadn't planned on linking to sites like CyberRebate.com, but ran across it and just had to check it. I was curious, and I still am. I sure could use some of their free or cheap stuff, and I'm wondering if one could dispute the credit card charges if the rebates don't show up. Would sure appreciate hearing about any experiences! Obviously I'd like to add some more credit, real estate and finance links. It's rather overwhelming with all the sites out there. If you know any good products or services, please let me know. You'll notice that I'm disclosing the commissions with the links. I'll also list the income from the ads at the site. I have no idea what to expect, much will depend on how much time it takes to locate and review more sites. I decided to set 25% of all ad income aside for special projects, like paying for legal advice and/or suing one of the more obnoxious collection companies. Although I'm beginning to think that paying for a lawyer is easier than FINDING a good one who is available. I guess we'll worry about what to do with "all that money" once we got it Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
