I always used to get a seeming deluge of them, at least three or four per month. But then, around the beginning of September, they stopped coming. I've gotten only two in the past four months. My first thought was that card issuers have given up on me because I never responded to any of the offers. But could this change reflect bigger issues? Could card issuers have decided that these solicitations - which normally have a response rate well below one percent - simply aren't cost effective? |
