About a year and 1/2 ago my husband hired Lexington Law firm. While I disputed my own stuff. Lexington did get results, but only with Trans Union and Experian. Nothing was deleted that didn't just fall off Equifax. They never, ever contacted us via email without me having to send multiple emails. Communication was horrible. But I was assured that things would improve soon. And they did.

I had much success as well, but I was having a hard time keeping up with stuff so I decided to hire lexington too. Big Mistake. They mixed up our accounts. WHen I'd ask for information regarding my account. They'd send me hubby's info. I was very mad. Found out that phone calls were now free, so I called to find out what was going on. For two and half months, they did nothing on my account, they just kept taking money from me, but did nothing. They offered me a couple free months to give them a try. I accepted. I was happy. Some negatives were removed.

Then, We decided that my hubby's report needed some really intense work. Lexington's website mentioned all these extra services if he upgraded to Full and Complete Client. Since it sounded awesome, he signed up. Now! Here's where it gets really bad. We keep calling and calling. Our Paralegal is never available (which is not what their website says) When we finally are able to contact him. Weeks later, he hasn't done anything - he was supposed to just transfer the info from eclient services. How hard is that! We ask him questions about the other services their website proudly displays. He doesn't know what We're talking about. Says another guy handles that. Well, we can't talk to him right now. He'll call us back. No call! No Call! I'm brewing. Finally We call, demanding my money back! We have to talk to that guy who never calls us back. They promise he'll call. We call again, not available, and again, not available, yet again, not available. Finally, he takes our call. Says he will credit our account less data entry. We told him NOTHING has been done and it better all be credited. He says, oh, your right, and he'll credit our card back. but not until the end of the month.

I'm sooooo angry! I think he should credit the card now, not the end of the month! I think I might have to file a complaint!

I know this isn't too clear, but I'm too mad right now too focus

Are you telling me that after 18 months your husband's credit is still not cleaned up? How many deletions were they successful at so far and how many more do you have to go?

How often are they sending letters?

Hi Patricia,

My husbands scores are 530, 636, and 675.

There were a lot of work stoppages due to communication problems. i.e. not receiving reports and not notifying me, not responding to emails in a timely manner

I'm not certain how many negatives there were when we first started. He filed bankruptcy in 92 so I'm sure there was a lot of clean up to do. I was just happy when I would get updated reports saying deleted, deleted, deleted.

He has 10 negatives left on his reports - some are on two reports. TU just has the BK

Update

Lexington refunded his retainer and has agreed to work on our cases for free for a couple months.

Will keep you posted

Kelly
