I've kept very close track of the reports of my spouse and myself over the course of the last year and a half. One thing that I can now conclude, after having seen so many reports and scores on us, is that Equifax consistently is "out of line" with Transunion and Experian. Not only are the Equifax scores consistently lower, but the reason codes are different as well. TU and EXP (for our case) have usually tracked within 10 points of each other, with the same reason codes. This is with all the same information. I presume that the models that EQU uses are significantly & differently weighting the same factors.

HAs anyone else seen this. If so, it will certainly make a difference to people in which credit report is pulled for a loan.

My Experian has always been quite a bit lower (30-40 points at times) than my Equifax and TU. In fact, the TU and Equifax and consistently been within 2-3 points of each other. This is over the course of about 2 years with, from what I can tell, nearly identical information in each file (give or take one account).
