| | Wednesday, November 10, 1999 - 09:28 am I am now hooked up to order credit reports on my customers and potential customers through a reseller. The thought occurs to me that I could charge a small fee to persons who were interested in seeing their credit history and knowing the reasons why they did not score better. I personally do not believe people should have their score in writing so the credit history would be redacted and the score would be blacked out. I would be willing to provide a person their score verbally. In any event the inquiry would be promotional and so would not decrease your risk score. I was considering an $8.00 fee, which is the same as what credit reporting agencies charge. Would there be a market for this service?

| | Thursday, November 18, 1999 - 04:13 pm Hi Sean I'm contracted to do the same thing. I provide equipment leases for small businesses, and I thought about reselling the reports to some of my clients so they could work on cleaning up the reports. Unfortunately there is a law against it. I'm not to sure of the particulars but when I spoke with one of my leasing companies thay advised me against doing that. Its ok to resell to other buisnesses that have a signed request from the consumer. Liz http://www.newhorizon.org/NHBS
