I attended the Stephen and Michelle Snyder Seminar on 4/29 for four hours. It was an enjoyable morning. Steve should have his own tv show, he is a very good entertainer and informative speaker. Both he and Michelle went through a chapter 7 and tour the country trying to help others reestablish self esteem and credit. They mentioned Ford for cars (while they may help, they may also pimp--personal experience), Centex for mortgages (see the grapevine discussion group for other lenders) and mentioned two banks for credit cards (big on secured cards). Steve wrote a book and mentioned it once and only once. Didn't push it.
All in all, this website is much better for depth, input, sharing experiences and is great for those who want to use "home schoolin"/ I was amazed at how the 500+ people just sat there not knowing this website was available and how the FICO game is played. All kinds of people were there from well educated to uneducated---bankruptcy cuts a wide path and when this stock market goes, more will be joining us. I was impressed that they decided they would turn a big negative event in their lives and share it with others and by doing so turn it into a positive, healing gathering place for others trashed by corporate America. |
