E Burrows (Perseguidor) | Wednesday, May 31, 2000 - 07:02 am I have 4 accounts on my report that I have closed. The other two bureaus show that they were closed at my request. Experian, used to show the same information, but now they don't. I wrote them about this and included old copies of their report with the information in there. They investigated this and have since sent me two copies of my report but the information is still missing. Can someone advise on this? I'm being dealing with this for the last 9 months. I am getting so tired of this nonsense. Any ideas? |

E Burrows (Perseguidor) | Thursday, June 01, 2000 - 06:50 am No. The reports only have my statement saying that I closed the account. When I call them they tell me that the accounts do show that they were closed by consumer's request but the copy of the report they send me does not show that anywhere. |
Christine Baker (Admin) | Thursday, June 01, 2000 - 11:07 am Oh I see, I thought the entire account had disappeared. You don't need to worry as long as it doesn't state that the creditor closed the account. Underwriters and Credit Scoring assume that the account was closed by the consumer UNLESS otherwise indicated. |
