I've been with my current employer since May-99 (they imported me to the USA). Due to a change in product focus, they're changing the company name but not their address or phone numbers.

Obviously once this happens I don't want this to appear as a change of employer. Will things still be OK if I continue to use their old name when applying for credit?

I would use the new name.

Most corporations have 2+ names anyway, so the creditors are used to employer name variations.

I've had to get my share of "explanations" for my mortgage clients when W-2's had different employer names.
