Bankruptcy and drugs? I read the slashdot.org and eff.org links, and now I really hope this bill won't pass.

From eff.org:

"... Makes it illegal to share information about harm reduction and growing hemp even for industrial purposes. Not only does it criminalize speech, it makes it illegal to even LINK TO sites with these types of articles and gives the government power to order Web sites censored and shut down without due process of law."

Hemp????!!!! Talk about wasting tax dollars ...

Yeah, actually slashdot has become a really good source of news when it relates to freedom of speech and online content. We got lucky on the link to the proposed BK laws, only because the other stuff was bundled in with it. I remembered that we were looking for that link here a while ago, and I was never able to find it, so I figured hey! Better late than never! :-)

I'm thinking it's great they attached this drug and search legislation to the bankruptcy bill.

That will get the bill much more attention and hopefully prevent it from becoming law.
