They DO get your medical records, and some are very picky about pre-existing conditions. The fact that insurance companies can and will use anything against you, is reason enough for me to only see a doctor when I absolutely have to. Unlike credit reporting, medical reporting is apparently NOT regulated and you do NOT have the right to see your medical records or the reports issued about you. |
