Well, it's 1:30 AM as I'm copying my previous faxes to US West and trying to think of what to write you. I don't feel like summarizing my efforts to get US West to pay back the $100 US West took out of my checking account only to break our contract. US West took my money, but didn't give me phone service. Never once did US West call me or write to me. Never once did US West respond to my requests for a refund. I spent literally hours on hold at public phones during 1999.
I am faxing you
1) my application for service (including the request for refund dated 10/27/00}
2) my bank statement showing the $100 debit
3) my faxed refund demand dated 1/29/01.
I have the originals as well as the independent 3rd party verifications of the US West receipt of my faxes. As I stated in my fax dated 1/29/01, I charge $75 per hour and we're up to $725 now.
Would you like to wire the funds, send a check, or meet at the courthouse?
I'm really tired of the corporate fraud and theft, tired of being ignored and tired of being treated like a louse.
Why did I have to sue US West to get a call?
