One of your previous posts mentioned re-dating a loan. Could you provide me with more information about this processs. Specifically:

1. What does it mean to re-date.
2. When should it be used.
3. Can it be used for credit cards.
4. What is the likelihood of success.
5. Will it boost a credit score

Actually, I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that the posts were unhappy about the "re-dating" of a loan since it can erroneously restart the clock on how long a negative item stays on your credit report. This is not a favorable occurance, and necessitates correction of the listing by the consumer, nothing short of a pain.
