Had several cards charged off and collection agencies are reporting these accounts also on the same credit report.Is this legal and can challenge it as double reporting and get off my experian report?

Yes, it's legal. The original trade line now shows a default status, 30/60/90 days past due, whatever it happens to be. The company also hired a collection agency to collect the dough. It went over 30 days with them, so they're reporting it as a collection account 30/60/90+ days past due (whatever it happens to be).

Do you have the cash to deal with the original creditor? Offer them a settlement (percentage of the original debt) as full settlement and get them to committ IN WRITING that they'll make arrangements to remove any and all info regarding that account from all credit bureau files, including the collection account. In writing, on the letterhead of the company that's listed on your reports, signed by an authorized agent.
