Ok, I'm having two problems while trying to repair my credit. #1 What is the best way to handle charge off reports?
On the charge off subject...I have a credit card account listed as a charge off. This credit card was issued to me at age 15. I called the creditor and explained this, they said no problem, it would be removed. Now its listed as a charge off, and when I disputed it they refused to remove it. What now?
My second problem is with an apartment complex. I disputed this account as well, with no luck. They are claiming I owe them 2,000 some dollars, with no explination of why. They kept my security deposit when I moved (I owed them no rent) because of a small area of the carpeting that was damaged. The landlord said everything was fine, and the deposit would cover the damage. Now with a new manager running the complex, I have this debt I was never informed of. Ive called every lawyer in my area...none handles such a situation. Any suggestions??? |
