How is a Notice of Default reported on the 3 credit files and for how long does it remain? Also, Once the property is foreclosed, how then is that status reported on the credit files and how long will it remain. Please note: I filed Ch7 on the home in question 2 years ago, and I recently made the choice to let the mortgage absolve via the bankruptcy. Will the credit files indicate "NOD" and "foreclosure" in addition to the already reported "included in bankruptcy" status? or will the NOD and foreclosre status supercede the bankruptcy status currently reported by the 3 bureaus?
