| | Thursday, March 23, 2000 - 05:35 am I live in Missouri, I'm the same Steve who started the "Does Experian actually verify disputed items" thread. http://www.bayhouse.com/discus/messages/4/414.html?953822248 I looked in my local yellow pages and did not find a single entry under Consumer Law. Are there any Lawyers on the net that will write the letter Steve

| | Friday, March 24, 2000 - 04:47 am Steve, I would go to the library and check out some credit repair books. Lots of them have formatted letters to that you can copy. Thats what I did, then sent it registered to the CRA's legal department. Worked like a charm. I would try it myself first, before paying someone else to type it. I used a book called "Better Credit in 30 Days", or something like that. All credit books are in the 321 to 332 area of library.

| | Friday, March 24, 2000 - 04:54 am Steve, Just an FYI, I have been working on our credit for about 9 months, seems like a long time...but I've managed to raise our scores (fico) about 100 points. We were just approved for an A loan! I used a combination of registered letters and pleasant , but firm phone calls, quoting FCRA laws and statutes. TU failed to investigate a collection acct w/i 30 days, and on the 31st day I called, quoted the FCRA and w/i 15 days the whole thing was deleted. Good Luck!
