How do the CRA's verify Judgments?
I ask this because I recently disputed a small claims judgment with all three CRA's. I said that I had paid it before the court date and it should have been dismissed.

Equifax/CSC Credit services said it had been not recorded as vacated or set aside at the courthouse. So still reports it as an outstanding judgment.

Experian said it had been satisfied, and shows it as civil claim satisfied.

TUC/Credit Bureau of Oklahoma City no longer show it at all.

I decided that I didn't like the judgment on my credit report so went to the court house file a motion to vacate, and I could find NO record of the case at all, not on the computer, not in there records department and not in the offsite warehouse.

So how, did the CRA's that still show it verify it?

I really don't know. It's strange that you can't find it, all I can suggest is you ask the CRAs and demand proof.

They should give you the filing number.
