I disputed 3 items on my Experian credit report. I mailed out my dispute on 7/31/00, they received it on 8/2/00..
I receive a copy of my credit report in the mail today 8/12/00 stating that they have already reinvestigated these items and to contact the original creditor directly. One of the items I disputed, they claim was verified and remains..In ten days!! yeah right. I previously disputed these items back in Oct. 99 and Jan 00. and I have just now had time to go over my reports again. Did I do something wrong?

I don't think so. Experian, of all three, seems to me to automatically say it is verified, probably while munching a bunch of cheetos in the mouth with a swig of soda and a cigarette going, along with the extra long fingernails clicking at verifying. Keep trying is what i have been informed, give it about five attempts and they may have put the cheetos done long in enough to enter "deleted"
