So I got a copy of my equifax credit profile. Sears did a regular inquiry for me. It was not marked as a periodic review. Well, I called up equifax to ask about it, and they told me you can not dispute inquiries. I was told to call Sears up, and tell them I didn't authorize it. Well, I caled them up, and they told me that in my security agreement, I agreed to them pulling up my credit report anytime they want. I told them it was misclassified in my credit report, but the lady told me, basically, too bad. Is there any recourse I can do?

Never believe what a credit bureau tells you until you've called them at least three times and gotten the same story all three times.

One person told you that you couldn't dispute inquiries. Call back and get a different person.
