David Temkin (Dtemkin) | Wednesday, August 16, 2000 - 02:31 pm Ok, what actually happened is this (after spending two hours in the Philadelphia Municipal Court administration offices): They transferred the judgement from the jurisdiction I lived in before to the current jurisdiction. Persistant little buggers, eh? Funny thing is, that the judgement has been satisfied. They're trying to hide ANOTHER $800 I owe them inside of the judgement, even though the debt came AFTER the court proceedings and everything else. Sneaky, eh? The clerk at the court advised me to sue if they don't back down. There's really no formal 'dispute' process - the only way you can dispute it is if they go to a Sherrifs' sale or something similar to that, and then you're entitled to another hearing. On top of that, these people won't return my phone calls. This is aggrivating to say the least. -Dave |
