Here's an off the wall question for you guys...

I was sued by a former employer for training expenses when I quit. After summary judgement against me (meaning I lost the case before being able to present my side) - I settled for $25,000. (BK was not an option - although I asked every lawyer in town for a better answer)

(The settlement was a reduced amount of the judgement, in return for no appeals. Because of the Settlement, the judgement was suspended and does not appear on my credit reports)

I've been paying diligently for two years (mainly because if I stop the settlement amount escalates to $35K).

It would be good to have these regular payments show up on my credit report. Is there any way of putting them on there? My former employer does not do any reporting currently - and won't do anything if it will take too much time or energy. If it was reasonably inexpensive - I'd pay to have the debt and good payment posted.

Unfortunately the bureaus are very expensive to report to and I've read that they require a minimum of 50 reported accounts.

So even if you wanted to pay, it appears impossible to accomplish. You might want to check directly on the bureau sites to verify.
