My husband and I were recently turned down for credit, so we sent for copies of our credit reports, only to find out they both contain a $77,000 mortgage foreclosure. Apparently, Chase Mortgage foreclosed on a mortgage taken out by a Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Cox. We have no clue as to who these people are, however we do know a C.T. Cox. We have a restitution order, in our favor, against him. The credit agencies will not remove the foreclosure because they say they got the information from public records. We are having no luck whatsoever in dealing with Chase. We have faxed information, which they lost, left numerous messages, and no one returns our calls. Any advice on what to do next is greatly appreciated.

Angel
