I just recently went to the county courthouse to do a public records search and I found an old hospital bill for $335.00 that I received a judgement for in 1988. apparently they have been renewing the judgement every five years and the current renewal date is jan 1998. I had a chap 13 bankruptcy in 1994 and then converted to a chap 7 in 1995, this hospital bill was included in the bankruptcy. Can they still continue to renew this judgement if this debt was included in bankruptcy?

Yes,

unless your atty filed specifically to vacate the judgement, they can keep it out their. The only way to remove it is to re-open your BK(Bad idea). Unless you own any Real Estate and the judgements attaches I would not worry about it. If they did file and abstrat or writ to attach your property you will need to pay them to get it removed.
BK's do not remove judgements, it only discharges the debt. They can't come collecting from you but they don't hafve to remove the judgement either.
