I am confused about where the SOL applies to, the state in which the debt occurred or the state you reside in. I did a search on here and I believe it was said that the creditor has a choice on which SOL to go by, which ever state is longer I would think!! Anyway is that accurate, I am trying to get something removed and wanted to let them know the SOL has expired, it did expire in the original state where the debt occurred but hasn't expired where I live now??
